TidePlan is a passage planning tool for sailors navigating the tidal waters of the English Channel. For any departure and destination points within its range it computes the best heading to steer for a given departure date and time. The program also provides a list of waypoints along the ground track and ETA/ETE information so that the vessel's progress can be checked on passage. It provides facilities for interfacing with other navigation software and with GPS receivers.

The licence and registration is annual and a new version of the program is produced for each calendar year. Once registered any updates to the program can be downloaded during the annual registration period.
